"Diversity" - poetry from an 8 year old

Diversity sees people's colors

Diversity hears people's ideas

Diversity feels people's pain

Diversity understands people's disabilities

Diversity moves people's lives

Diversity needs people's cooperation

Diversity changes people's opinions

Diversity wants people to accept themselves and others

Diversity helps people understand life

Diversity dreams of a better world

First Sundays at First Church!

This past Sunday was the first meeting of First Sundays! The kitchen was occupied so we (a total of five, including two adults) ate ice cream sundaes for lunch--which we decided was one of the greatest meals for lunch. We shared our "meal," reflected on worship, and prayed about what is current in our lives.

If you missed it, fear not. We will meet again on April 3, May 1, and June 5. First Sundays is when high school and confirmed youth are invited to the Rose Room during Coffee Hour to make a small meal and enjoy each others fellowship.

E-mail Michael Isaacs with any questions.
